A few months back the gents over at members-only Men’s shop Huckberry.com asked me to curate a sale and today I am thrilled to announce it has launched:

The Significant Other x Huckberry Sale
featuring USA based brands, all hand picked by yours truly.
All products are offered at prices exclusive to the sale for one week,
Tuesday February 28th to March 6th.
Shop Here.

Since starting The Sig Other I have had the great fortune to meet companies founded by people just like me; that consider craft, quality and integrity their highest priority. The brands selected for this sale embody all of those qualities and the products we’ve chosen are some of the best they have to offer. From a classic oxford to expertly crafted cordovan boots, I wanted to choose items that were truly staples in every man’s life.

I am honored to include each of these USA based companies and proud to be able to work with the incredibly talented and hard working people behind each one of them. I’d also like to specially thank the amazing team at Huckberry, Richard Greiner, Andy Forch, and Alex Blunk, for making this one of the most enjoyable and smooth projects I’ve ever been a part of. I cannot recommend them and Huckberry highly enough.  Below is a preview of the products included in the sale which you can purchase over at Huckberry.  – M

Brooklyn Bootworks

Brooklyn Bootworks is one of those companies that all brooklynite should be proud of. The label was co-founded by Alabama native and Brooklyn resident Jess Draper, and Mike Chamberas, a 19-year footwear industry veteran, who’s mission it is to “produce the best boots in the world”. The boots are designed in Brooklyn, and crafted by Italian shoe makers. The result is a boot that is equal parts Brooklyn heart and Italian quality.

Individualized Shirts

In a sea of imitators, I can honestly say Individualized Shirts is a true blue American heritage brand. The company began in 1961 when two Brooks Brother’s shirt makers saw a need to create accessible custom shirting. Today, Individualized is the largest custom shirt makers in North America and have also created a successful off the rack line – but they’ve never compromised. They still make everything in their factory in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and after 50 years, they’re mission is to remain true to the designs and techniques practiced when the company was founded.

Graham Withers

Graham Withers is a two man operation, co-founded by two of the coolest guys you’ll ever know, Paul Hanan and Dave Roma. Completely self-taught, the Brooklyn based friends began learning and mastering the art of tie making in spare rooms at Paul’s family’s whipped cream shop. Two years later they’ve gained a reputation for designing traditionally inspired ties using luxury fabrics, all made by themselves or NYC  craftsmen.

Skinny Vinny

Designer Vincent Lai is the creative mind behind this function focused Brooklyn Label. Vinny’s takes inspiration from every day life – observing how and when people use their bags – and approaches each design as a way to improve upon a bag’s usability. Each one is crafted by a small family of designers which means individual variation and human touch is guaranteed in every product.

The Motley

The Motley is the brainchild of Matthew Ruggeri and based off the genius insight that through out history, American men could not find a convenient, comfortable place to buy basics like shaving cream and hair products. Thanks to Matt’s incredible vision and leadership, The Motley has grown into a literally the only mens grooming shop that I will refer people to, both for the collection products and the service.
