(CAPSULE) DAY 1 // HIGHLIGHTS
This year (capsule) NYC has found itself a new home further down town on Washing St. The space is larger than in years past – a huge blank canvas warehouse that for these two days is transformed by the presence of over 200 brands and an impressive cast of menswear buyers, designers, bloggers, publications and aficionados.
To be fair, no amount of coverage can really do it justice but for today, I’ve highlighted some trends that were consistent throughout. Themes included, pronounced wool textures and patterns and bright colors, in particular bright blues of all shades. As for shoes, everyone was seeing tassels. More brand profiles and all that good stuff to come in the following days. – M
